Judy Marie Wiseman, 63, of Burlington, died at 10:36 AM Sunday, May 30, 2010, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born May 28, 1947, in LaHarpe, IL, she was the daughter of Keith Edward and Thelma Irene Peck Thomas. On March 8, 1968, she married Myron Neil Wiseman in Danville, IA. They celebrated 40 years of marriage before he died on July 14, 2008.

Judy was a homemaker and enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren.
She was a 1965 graduate of Augusta High School in Augusta, Illinois.
She was of the Christian faith. She loved country music, enjoyed camping, fishing, crafts, mushroom hunting, and going to flea markets. Judy's other interests were "getting together with the kids and grandkids and celebrating their birthdays". The most important things in her life were her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Survivors include four sons, Myron D. Wiseman, and Byron N. (Jamie) Wiseman, both of Burlington, Michael E. (Denise) Wiseman of Muscatine, and Brian K. (Stacie) Wiseman of Burlington; her father, Keith Edward Thomas of Plymouth, IL; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Dale Thomas of Lomax, IL, Alan Thomas of Littleton, IL, and Dean Thomas of Plymouth, IL; two sisters, Lois Browning of Burlington, and Rita Akers of Littleton, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother, and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 7:00 PM with the family to receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at the Hass-Thielen Funeral Home.
The Funeral Service for Mrs. Wiseman will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at the Hass-Thielen Funeral Home with Reverend Dean Graber officiating. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for Great River Hospice House.
